Deacon convinces the man in charge of loading the helicopter, O’Brian, to let he and Sarah onboard, but eventually Deacon decides to stay behind. With Sarah badly wounded, the trio eventually makes their way to the roof of a building where a government helicopter is evacuating essential personnel. Deacon and his fellow Mongrels MC member Boozer are working with Sarah to try to avoid the Freaker hordes, riots, and looting but eventually, they come upon a despondent kid (infected?) who turns and stabs Sarah while she is trying to help. In the story of Days Gone, players learn that Sarah was stabbed while trying to escape from Farewell, Oregon. However, those seeking answers immediately may want to know what happened to Sarah in Days Gone, either because curiosity got the best of them or because they don’t actually want to finish the game.
